It has also been refined through years of intentional practice, disciplined self-examination, reflection, and continual learning.
More than 25 years of mindful meditation and yoga, including silent retreats and extended periods of silence and contemplation, strengthened the observation, patience, awareness, and thoughtful judgment that helped shape the HER method.
Independent educational travel, navigating unfamiliar places and cultures as a solo female traveler, and countless hours spent hiking in the natural world further shaped the perspective behind HER. These experiences demanded preparation, observation, adaptability, sound judgment, and the ability to find a sensible way forward.
HER did not emerge from experience alone. Professional practice, intentional self-examination, continual learning, and real-life situations approached with care and awareness form the foundation of the HER method.
