Session Policy

Overview

This Session Policy applies to all Ask HER Advise services.

By submitting payment and participating in a session, the individual acknowledges that they have read and accepted this Session Policy, the Disclaimer, and the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

HER sessions are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age.

Ask HER Advise reserves the right to accept or decline any request based on the nature of the situation, scheduling availability, and whether the matter falls within the scope of HER.

Single-Session Service

Each session is a separate service.

Ask HER Advise does not provide memberships, retainers, subscription services, ongoing counseling, continuing representation, unlimited communication between sessions, or guaranteed follow-up services.

If additional examination is appropriate, a new Request a Session form and a separately scheduled session may be required.

Session Fees and Payment

Full payment is required before a session is confirmed.

The session fee reserves the scheduled appointment and includes review of the completed Request a Session form, preparation before the session, and the session itself.

A session may conclude before the maximum scheduled time when the immediate purpose of the examination has been met. The session fee remains the same because the fee reserves the examination and appointment—not a required number of spoken minutes.

Unused time is not credited, transferred, or refunded.

Refund Policy

Session fees are non-refundable once payment has been received.

No refunds or partial refunds are provided because a session concludes early, an individual changes their mind, arrives late, is dissatisfied with an outcome, or chooses not to continue participating.

If Ask HER Advise cancels a confirmed session and an acceptable alternative appointment cannot be provided, the individual may choose either a full refund or a rescheduled appointment.

Rescheduling

One courtesy reschedule may be requested with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability.

Requests received with less than 48 hours' notice, missed appointments, or repeated rescheduling requests may require a new booking and payment.

Attendance

Individuals are responsible for being available at the scheduled session time.

Late arrival does not extend the scheduled ending time. If an individual cannot be reached or does not attend the scheduled session, the appointment will be considered missed and the session fee will not be refunded.

Communication

Administrative communication may include scheduling, payment confirmation, document requests, or clarification related to a Request a Session form.

Communication outside a scheduled session is not an extension of the examination and should not be used to request additional examination or advice.

Recording

Audio recording, video recording, photography, transcription, screen recording, or reproduction of a session is not permitted unless all participants have provided prior written consent.

Conduct

Sessions are expected to remain respectful and lawful.

Ask HER Advise reserves the right to refuse or end a session involving threats, harassment, abusive or discriminatory conduct, inappropriate behavior, fraud, deliberate misrepresentation, unlawful activity, or repeated disregard for established service boundaries.

Confidentiality

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

HER sessions are private; however, they are not legally privileged in the manner of communications with an attorney, physician, or licensed therapist. Information may be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to respond to fraud, immediate safety concerns, or misuse of the service.

Technology

Telephone sessions are the standard format. Video sessions may be offered in limited circumstances.

Individuals are responsible for providing reliable contact information and, when applicable, an appropriate telephone or internet connection. Technical problems originating on the individual's side do not extend the scheduled session or create a right to a refund.

No Guaranteed Outcome

HER examines the information and circumstances presented during the session.

Ask HER Advise does not guarantee any particular outcome, decision, agreement, resolution, or action by another person or organization.

The individual remains solely responsible for all decisions, actions, and outcomes following the session.
